The wind will come if there’s blossoming
——“International Advanced Training Course of Traditional Chinese Medicine Project”
Since the launch of International Advanced Training Course of Traditional Chinese Medicine Project (IATC-TCM) project in 2017, there have been more than 80 healthcare professionals from 18 countries joined the marvelous journey of IATC-TCM. In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 worldwide temporarily interrupted our gatherings with friends who love TCM around the world. However, our connection has not been interrupted, and we continued to explore diversified communication methods
To this end, we participated in the “Special Project on International Cooperation and Cultural Communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine” sponsored by the Overseas Edition of People’s Daily. With the support of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, and under the guidance of the International Department of China Youth Daily, we recorded the shared memories with our alumni from all over the world in the form of video, and invited Professor Ka-Kit Xu, the founder of the East-West Medical Center, UCLA, to deliver a short speech.
We always believe that as long as the original intention is like a rock and definitely work for it, we will definitely gain more recognition and surprises. It is hoped that IATC-TCM project can build a bridge between East and West medical communication. We hope to make the world healthier by introducing the latest clinical and research progress of TCM, and sharing safer and more effective therapies/ with our colleagues in the global arena.
